Founded on the 3rd of October 1909, Bologna FC is one of the most iconic Clubs in Italy. In addition to many trophies won in domestic competitions (7 league titles, 2 Italian Cups and 1 Alta Italia Cup), Bologna FC was the first team that succeeded in Europe, winning the Central European Cup in 1932 and 1934, and were the first to beat an English team (Chelsea) in the 1937 Paris Exhibition Tournament. Schiavio, Biavati, Bulgarelli, Pascutti, Haller, Pagliuca, Baggio, Signori and Di Vaio are just some of the great players who made history wearing the Rossoblu jersey. Since 2014, the Club has been led by Joey Saputo, a Canadian entrepreneur who, while balancing innovation and respect for tradition, has created a long-term plan that aims to achieve outstanding results on and off the pitch. This is shown by the acquisition and updating of the training center "Niccolò Galli” and the renovation project for the Renato Dall'Ara Stadium.
